1) What’s the most common kind of storm in your neck of the woods?
summer thunderstorms as pictured, often with tornado sightings,
and winter blizzards ..
2) When was the last time you dealt with a significant power outage?
can’t say that i’ve experienced that ..
3) Are you prepared for the next one?
or first one? besides having supplies onhand not sure how else one can prepare.
certainly don’t want to live with that thought in the back of my mind !
4) What’s the weather forecast where you are this weekend?
‘mainly clear & SUNNY’ ! after two days of ‘mainly rain’ that is the
weather report i’m happy to hear ! i am a sun lover, motivated by
the sun, i work in the space where the sun is shining. in the last year of
my father’s life i found out why. he ‘happened’ to mention how he used to
follow the sun with me as a baby in the moses basket.. so yes, sun
reported is always good news for this girl !
5) How do you calm your personal storms?
firstly .. actually when i finally remember!, i take a step back into Christ.
who is He and who does He want to be for me in this situation?
strength, high tower, deliverer, salvation, peace, counsellor, advocate ..?
then thanks and praise of Him for that. turning my ears to hear His voice.
to hear His “Peace” spoken to calm the storm …
*You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace
whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You,
because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.*
